Dr. Girish Rao earned his credentials in BDS at Government Dental College, Bengaluru, in the year 1987. His postgraduate expertise MDS was developed Madras Dental College in the year 1991 , A specialisation of FFDRCSI from Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in the year 1993 & FDSRCS from Royal College of Surgeons of England in the year 1994.

Dr Girish Rao is practicing as a Consultant in Facio Maxillary Surgeon at various prestigious hospitals and as a Associate Professor and Head at RV Dental College.
